As members of the Lake Nona Democrats, we believe that healthy political engagement starts with meaningful, local conversations. It is entirely possible to share your values, advocate for what you believe in, and still keep your friendships intact.

It is an issue that directly impacts our voting power right here in Central Florida, yet it remains one of the most misunderstood aspects of our political system.

Local government and regional representation have a massive impact on our daily lives—from funding our neighborhood schools to protecting our environment and managing rapid infrastructure development.
