Pizza and Postcards Part 2!
Please join us on Tuesday, September 30 from 6-8:30pm for an evening of addressing postcards. Pizza will be supplied to keep you energized.
We have postcards to send out to Central Florida residents who have been identified as "likely democrats" but who are not yet registered to vote.
This meeting will take place at the Clubhouse for the Gatherings Community, 7501 Laureate Blvd. Parking is limited right around the clubhouse but is plentiful on the adjoining side streets.
Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend.
Monthly Meeting
Our special guest speaker this month will be ANNETTE TADDEO. Annette was formerly a Florida State Senator and has just won her primary election to become the Democratic nominee for Florida's Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She was the top vote-getter among Democratic statewide candidates on Florida’s primary ballot, winning 65.6 percent of the vote and demonstrating broad support from Democrats across the state.
This meeting will be held at the Lake Nona Performance Club, in the first floor Conference Room. There is plenty of free parking.
Refreshments will be served. Come as early as 9:30, and the meeting will start at 10am.
FriendsGiving
SAVE THE DATE Please join us for our Second Annual "Friendsgiving" on Sunday, November 22. This party is a strictly social event - no agenda - from 4pm - 6:30pm.
The food will be "potluck" and we will be setting up a list to sign up to bring whatever dish you like.
This party will be held at the Clubhouse of The Gatherings Community, in Laureate Park. Parking directly around the clubhouse is scarce, but available on the adjacent streets.
We are looking forward to enjoying this time with all our friends.

September Monthly Meeting

Our guest speakers will be these Democratic candidates on the November ballot: - ERIC GRAY - candidate for Fl. House District 35 (parts of Lake Nona & Osceola County) - VIC TORRES - Democratic candidate in the runoff for County Commission Seat 8 - ERIK MELEAR - Candidate for Soil & Water District
We will also be hearing from GLORIA REINA O'NEAL, our recently elected School Board member from District 2 (Lake Nona).
This meeting will be held at the Lake Nona Performance Club, in the first floor Conference Room. There is plenty of free parking.

Also, we will be collecting donations at the September 12 meeting for our "Lake Nona Dems Give Back" initiative. Each month, the Lake Nona Democrats Club supports a local nonprofit org to live our values of uplifting our community. For September, we are supporting Orange County public school teachers. We will be collecting DRY ERASE MARKERS, TISSUES, DISINFECTANT WIPES AND STICKERS. Please bring these school supplies to our meeting on September 12.
